I love working with old cameras. It’s a challenge to make them run again and see the results. Plus it’s a good excuse to go out and shoot. This time, I chose an Olympus Trip 35 (late sixties) with Kodak T-max 400. Brilliant piece of glass, amazingly silent and discrete. I am always amazed at the simplicity of these old models. The Trip 35 is really easy to work with. You frame. You shoot. Good thing because it was freezing cold outside. So here’s a quick tour of Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal, a very inspiring hood when it comes to photography.
